Singapore Lifeguard Corps Website

Just a little side project I took on to jazz up the website for the Singapore Lifeguard Corps.

A New Look

The main purpose of the website was to encourage people to sign up for courses to become a lifeguard.

Inspired by the lifeguard's domain—the pool—the website adopts a swimming pool theme.

The user flow

We noticed that visitors who are visiting the website will have the following objectives :

  1. Visitors who are at the site are already semi-interested and are concerned about the community they will meet and the support they would get.

  2. They want to know what certifications they need to work towards being a lifeguard.

  3. They want to know their course fees and gauge feasibility.

The business objectives of Singapore Lifeguard Corps is as follows :

  1. To ensure that people are signing up to their courses.

  2. Grow the lifeguard community.

How might we help…

1. To convince interested parties to sign up for courses

2. To demonstrate what it entails to join the lifeguard community

To convince interested parties to sign up for courses, the landing page immediately suggests for them to become a lifeguard. The title is immediately followed up with reasons why lifesaving is meaningful. CTA here “Find out more” leads to the page with the courses.

TLDR: Made sure that there was a space to display images that clearly showcase the community they will be joining.

Also ensured that there was ample information on the courses and clear CTA for them to join the courses.

Yay, you’ve reached the end 🎉
